Nucleonic Gauges DisposalARPS are experienced in decommissioning industrial sites that once used radioactive substances, and ARPS can assist with the safe removal and disposal of Nucleonic Gauges.
What is a Nucleonic Gauge?Nucleonic gauges are measuring and analysis instruments exploiting the interaction between ionising radiation and matter. Industry around the world uses this technology to control and improve product quality by optimising processes and saving energy and materials. Why do I need to dispose of Nucleonic Gauges?A Nucleonic Gauge *must be disposed of if it is no longer required by the site, or the sealed source within the gauge housing has exceeded the manufacturers recommended working life (the recommended working life for sealed sources within Nucleonic Gauges used by the Oil and Gas Industry is 15 years old), when a sealed source exceeds this recommended working life the Nucleonic Gauge should be replaced. ARPS are experienced in decommissioning industrial sites that once used radioactive substances, and ARPS can assist with the safe removal and disposal of Nucleonic Gauges.
